Devan stepped out of the bathroom with his cellphone to his ear, nodding even though the person on the other end couldn't hear. He was checking in with the headmaster. They had missed school the last couple days because of what happened, and even though the headmaster said everything would be fine on their end Devan did still worry that the school wouldn't be well guarded without them around. He sighed dismally and plopped down on the edge of his bed, rubbing the back of his neck as he groaned into the phone. "Aaah...Yea I got it. Everything's fine here, Caelan's resting, and so am I, but what about the N-.." Devan flinched, even though the old man wasn't barking at him. It was remarkable the words he used to get Devan to keep his mouth shut however. He was a surprisingly eloquent man. "Fine fine. We'll be back to school as soon as possible. Hopefully next week....Ah...Alright. Thanks old man, good night." Devan scoffed, pleased that he at least got that insult in before he could hang up the phone. His smile remained even as he looked over at Caelan. "Looks like we're in the clear for a while. I assume the headmaster doesn't want you around either 'cause of the bandages. You're like a flashing sign reading 'stare at me'." He chuckled, referring to the boy's neck and how obvious it was that he was still fairly injured. The wound was healing alright but it had only been a couple of days. Devan was worried about him still, and the truth was he didn't want Cael even attempting to push himself just for the school's sake. "At least we'll be exempt from school with the headmasters permission though." Devan was obviously pleased that the teachers wouldn't be allowed to flunk them because of it. He pushed himself up off of the edge of the bed and walked over to his closet to put away his cell in his jacket pocket. He had a habit of losing the thing, so he always kept it where it would be found at least. His room was a mess already from the couple day's he'd been back home. His mother wasn't happy about it, but both his parents were used to his habits. @ caelan ||

Your forever is all that I need
Please stay as long as you need Caelan felt sore still, the bite on his throat took a lot of time to heal. That he already knew but as school and work orientated as he was it made him feel bored. He hated to be stuck here along with being in pain. That only made his frustration ten times worse. For Devan since Caelan did his best to keep it under control around Devan's parents. They had helped him after all. Caelan didn't tell Devan how he pushed his body sometimes when he wasn't around. He did his best to hide his feelings and his pain about that. The wound would take even longer to heal with what he did when Devan wasn't watching. But he really didn't care. With a small yawn he pushed his body up to look at Caelan. "Devan...? Are we really, I don't like sitting around here. It's boring." He said as he tried to adjust his body without hurting his neck more.
Why did he have to feel this way? It made him feel really tired, and sick perhaps. That could be another word for it. Since his body didn't take to pain very well sometimes. Not when he felt that he was over tired, and bored. Exhaustion had set in after the first few nights of not being able to sleep. But he didn't tell Devan that either. Eventually his body would pass out and it'd seem as if he was sleeping peacefully. "Yea yea I'm still not happy being here. I want to do things. And it hurts." He mumbled the last part looking away from Devan. He hated to admit it hurt.
Caelan usually could handle things all on his own but this time it wasn't working as planned. And he hated it. Why couldn't Devan dull the pain for him. Find some reason to get it to go away. No matter what had to be done. Or at least that was what he thought right now. Yawning again he tried to move from where he was resting. They couldn't yell at him for getting up for a few minutes. "Whatever. Ugh my body hurts...do you have anything I can take...?" He grumbled, as he tried to stretch. Though it only made his body hurt more it seemed.
How could this happen. He tried not to get hurt and now Caelan wanted that pain to just go away. . |

Devan rolled his eyes and leaned against the wall beside the door as he looked over at Cael to watch him sit up. Seriously, the boy complained far too much. Devan wondered if he sounded this annoying and mopy when he'd been hurt and bed ridden for so long, but in this case it had only been a couple of days. "Tch, it hurts because you keep moving around. You're supposed to be resting." He was being a bit forceful himself, but Devan didn't want to budge with this. Caelan could give him all the cute looks he wanted but Devan wasn't going to let him get what he wanted. However when the boy decided to get up out of bed, Devan's mental pep talk was chalked up to nothing. He didn't say anything, but step forward and give the boy a concerned look. If he stumbled Devan would be beside him in a second, but it still made him uncomfortable to watch. "Caelan...Just lay back down. You're being a pain you know." He said halfheartedly, though his focus was obviously on Caelan's movements. He sighed and ran his hand through his hair, rubbing the back of his neck again as he thought about what to do to make Cael stop whining. "I'll go check to see if we still have any pain killers, but you've been taking a lot of them." Devan didn't want him to OD, but more importantly he wasn't sure if his mother had gone to the store recently or not. After dinner he'd forgotten to ask. His parents were both busy people, and even though Devan had been away from home for a while they still hadn't stopped their constant routine. Devan walked over to Caelan and nudged him to get back into his bed. "I'll go get you something. Just lay back down." He wanted to threaten him, but he couldn't even try. He felt too guilty to do so even jokingly. After Caelan laid back down he'd turn and head towards the door. Over the passed couple days they'd been resting at his home his leg had healed enough to where his limp was hardly even noticeable. The gashes in his calf didn't hurt hardly at all anymore, but if he walked downstairs on his own his mother would get mad. When Devan came back a couple minutes later, he groaned as he shut the door. He'd obviously been scolded and it was written all over his annoyed expression. "So, apparently you ate all of our pain meds, and my mom doesn't want to go anywhere this late at night SOooo.." Devan plopped down on the bed again, causing the bottle in his hand to jostle, but as he held it out to Cael he had an amused expression on his face already. "She said we could have a bottle of her wine to help numb the pain." Devan waited for Caelan's reaction, trying hard not to laugh already. He was simply too amused that his parents were actually letting them get away with drinking alcohol, or rather his mother was. His father had passed out on the couch after they'd eaten dinner an hour ago. @ caelan ||

Your forever is all that I need
Please stay as long as you need Caelan had always been too impatient, if he wasn't unconscious he didn't want to stay in bed. He wanted to move around rather then resting. The boy's body hurt the more he moved. That he knew but it didn't mean he liked it. Caelan's body didn't like the idea of him working his body hard, or even resting so it was a conflicting message. "Ugh you know I hate sitting still. It's boring and there is nothing to do." He grumbled and tried to keep from moving around too much. Caelan wanted to get rid of his pain that was all that mattered. Well mostly, Devan was important to. But he couldn't much about Devan right now. Not when his mind was cloudy like this. He looked over at Devan and stuck his tongue out."Tch I don't wanna rest...it's boring." But he wasn't about to complain too much. He did know it wasn't going to end very well if he kept trying to deal with that.
Devan had a point, if he didn't rest he would only get hurt worse. But still Caelan was too frustrated. He didn't like the idea of constantly sitting still. It sounded way too annoying to him if he wanted to be truly honest. Honesty and Caelan went hand in hand here. "Fine and it's cause it hurts a lot. It keeps getting worse it seems." He did try to deal with it though that never worked out as planned. Caelan already knew that much, though he did keep it to himself. He didn't want to worry Devan. That was why he didn't say a lot of things. But would it even help? He couldn't lie or keep Devan in the dark now. Not when that boy was this close to him. It would just be completely impossible. Caelan climbed back into the bed and groaned. Leaning back on the pillows didn't make him feel any better at this point.
He waited for Devan to come back. After all his head was spinning and he didn't like it. He wanted to get some rest, but the pain wasn't letting him. That thing had literally torn him up so of course it'd be hard for him. But Caelan was still a stubborn boy. He didn't need people to help him, they'd only end up getting him into more trouble then it was worth. Sometimes, though at least Devan was a bit better then he had been before. He knew when not to do something which might have come as a bit of a shock. "W-what? wine...I mean...u-um sure fine whatever. Just give it to me dammit." He said as he looked at him. This was not something he enjoyed, he wanted to drink the wine and let his pain go away completely. But as if it'd work.
He was still nervous about it but he wanted to use it. If it'd help his pain. And maybe relax him in general. |

Devan smirked at Caelan's reaction. He seemed just as surprised as he had been when his mother had handed him the bottle, but she was clearly flustered. However, Devan wasn't arguing now. He hadn't been sure how his friend would react, but given the boy's reluctance he thought it to be fairly amusing. Devan chuckled and held the bottle back from Caelan so he could go about opening it first, before the boy hurt himself trying on his own. "Calm down. We're lucky my mom's even letting us do this. She did say to drink it slowly though. I don't thinks she wants to have to nurse any hangovers tomorrow." Devan smiled, peeling off the outer plastic at the top of the bottle and tossing it onto the floor where he placed most of his trash. He didn't even need a cork screw to pull the top off, using his bare hand and his own muscle he managed to pull the cork out on his own. It made a loud popping sound that scared him for a fraction of a second, but this only made him laugh again at himself. After tossing the cork onto the floor, he held out his hand to Caelan as he lifted the bottle to his lips before he could take it from him. He opened the bottle, so Devan wanted the first drink. After a couple of decent sized gulps he lowered the bottle and let out a content sigh. Though he grimaced slightly at how hot it made his throat afterwards. "God damn. Tastes good, but the burn." Devan scoffed again, handing over the bottle for Caelan to take this time. "Here, just be careful alright." Devan used his free hand to wipe the alcohol from his lips, before using the same hand to pinch the front of his shirt and lift it up and down to help fan himself. His house wasn't always kept very warm, and he'd been keeping his shirt on for Caelan's sake, but already he wanted to take it off just from how hot the wine had made his throat feel. Poor temperature sensitive Devan. @ caelan ||

Your forever is all that I need
Please stay as long as you need Caelan didn't get why a woman would allow that, a mother no less. What point did allowing this have? Of course he knew it might numb the pain he felt. But did people need to know that, perhaps not. He wanted to have a drink, see how it tasted. Yes he was only a kid but who cared. Those things shouldn't have mattered. Not right now at least. However he wondered what he might be getting involved in. It probably wasn't very good but who cared. He didn't need to think much about it. Since he knew it wouldn't do him any good. If he dwelled too much the pain would come back. "Calm down? How can I, your mom is letting us drink. Is this even a good idea." He seemed almost nervous, the cute shy kind of nervous that he sometimes showed. But he only hoped Devan wouldn't pick at it. Devan liked to pick at things like this and it annoyed Caelan a lot.
Caelan reached for the bottle again only to have Devan pull it away. That made him seem a bit grumpy, which was probably only natural at this point. He did a lot of weird things but he wanted to try it. And Devan was keeping him from it. Though maybe it was for the best since of course kids shouldn't drink. But if Devan was allowed to then Caelan would to. Simple thought really. "O-oh okay..but it won't be that bad anyway." Or at least he thought so. Caelan had finally begun to relax a little bit, only if he could take enough to get rid of his pain then he'd be fine. That he knew. He couldn't help the small laugh, he felt Devan jump a little. Had it scared him that much? To think he dated such a chicken.
But of course Devan was a cute chicken so he didn't mind it one bit. And he never would. Caelan tilted his head, he didn't understand. This was a bit weird but what was he supposed to do. It'd probably not end up doing him any good. Not right now. Either way he'd figure this out in time. It was all he wanted. "Oh please the burn can't be that bad...are you sure it's not cause you drank too much." He rolled his eyes and took the bottle pressing it to his lips. Caelan did take what Devan said to heart, he'd try to take it slow. So he didn't hurt himself of course. That was the last thing he wanted or needed right now anyway. Caelan could feel it going down his throat, and when he pulled the bottle away. He felt that burn in his throat. It wasn't that bad to him? But he still grumbled about it.
"Idiot if you are hot strip the damn shirt off. It's not like you are a girl or anything." Caelan didn't seem to care, he had no shame right now. Between the pain and everything he almost didn't care. Let Devan show it off, he had the goods anyway. Caelan had felt them in ways no one had before. |

He shouldn't have been surprised that Caelan was being shy towards the alcohol, but Devan sincerely was. Cael was so confident in most things, that he didn't think a little alcohol would turn him away even for a second, but once Devan handed over the bottle the boy's shy demeanor quickly seemed to vanish. Devan smirked at him, though he wondered deep down if the pain was really that bad for him. He hated it when Caelan didn't tell him things, but Devan had hid his own pain from the boy as well, so they were fairly even. Devan looked at Cael, a bit shocked when he to strip his shirt off. He held onto the front of it even tighter out of reflex. He didn't want to take off his clothes in front of Caelan. Things were different for them now and...admittedly he did feel awkward about it. They'd kissed each other after all, and since then Devan had been intentionally avoiding being naked or anything close to such while around this boy. "No way. I'm fine." He retorted quickly, sitting up a little straighter so he could take the bottle from Caelan. Devan didn't have any real reason to be drinking the wine. He wasn't really hurting anywhere, and overall he felt alright, however he was taking advantage of this moment just as much as Caelan was. He knew his mother probably would never let them do this again. After taking another couple of sips from the wine, he'd hand the bottle back over to Caelan and sigh contently again before falling back on the mattress. "Hey Cael...After we graduate, and school's over. What do you plan on doing?" @ caelan ||

Your forever is all that I need
Please stay as long as you need Caelan didn't know what he was feeling at this point, the drinks would get to him. He didn't exactly test his tolerance to this stuff. Why would he? Since he barely knew what it would do. With a small grumble Caelan glared at Devan. He wanted to drink down the bottle so quickly that there was nothing left. Maybe because of the pain he was in. Not just the physical pain but also the emotional pain buried underneath everything. He already knew Devan was going to avoid that again. Of course he was that shy child again. Why did it have to change. All he knew so far it had made him a bit grumpy. So he gulped down more of the wine then he realized before letting Devan have it. Hey getting wasted would fix his problems for at least a few minutes. Though how long was still to be seen.
"Haha sure, you are fine." He smirked and leaned against the wall. He figured he'd be fine here. This didn't even matter, what was he going to say. He wondered what he was supposed to say or do. It might not end up going very well for them. Caelan glanced at Devan then looked back to the wine bottle. Maybe he could finish it all quickly, he didn't even care about this stuff. He stopped and looked at his hands before putting the wine bottle back to his lips and drinking from it again. This time however he didn't give it back to Devan. "I don't know...I'm only good at hunting, I don't have any other skills. And...no nevermind. What will you do?" He had to ask, he wanted to know. Caelan was only good at murdering inhuman things.
He would never get any other skills and this was where his life was stuck. He knew Devan would probably go off on his own way and do his own things. Which couldn't be all that shocking. Not right now anyway. He leaned back a bit to make himself comfortable though Caelan still had a tight grip on the wine bottle. He refused to let it go. Maybe he could get so wasted that he wouldn't be able to hunt anymore. People would probably realize he was useless then and he'd be left alone. It couldn't be that hard to want that right.
Though he'd rather spend his time with only Devan. Devan was that important to him, however people didn't need to know that. Not even Devan. |

He was conflicted. Devan didn't have an answer to give Caelan right away, and above all he didn't want the boy to worry about him, or them. They would always be friends no matter what. They'd grown up together, and practically lived at each others houses. Devan didn't have anyone else he was this close to, and he couldn't imagine living without still being close to Cael, but he wasn't that good at hunting -in his opinion at least. His parents might get disappointed, perhaps even angry if they knew he didn't want to become a hunter and follow there lead, but Devan didn't want his life to be cut short because of a slip up, an accident, or his own lack of skill. Furthermore, he didn't want to be the cause of any harm that might befall his family as well. "I haven't really thought about it." A complete lie, but Devan didn't have the courage to tell Caelan the truth. He might get mad at him too, and he didn't want that. "I wanna take a year off though. Figure things out...You should take it with me." It was selfish of him, but deep down Devan didn't want Caelan to be a hunter either. If they chose separate paths, he knew that the chances of seeing him would lessen over time. Perhaps Cael would even forget about him entirely. Hunting was a life consuming job. "Only if you want to though. It'd be easier if you joined the association right out of high school. You wouldn't lose any of the training." Devan grinned weakly, and sat up slightly, propping himself up on his elbows so he could look at Caelan with his lopsided grin. @ caelan ||

Your forever is all that I need
Please stay as long as you need He didn't want to have to leave Devan, but if Devan picked another path then what was he supposed to do. Right now it'd probably not end up doing him any good. He wasn't even out of high school yet. He was a strong hunter, and yet he didn't know what to say. Caelan sighed then leaned back a bit more. He felt heated, but the pain in his neck was fading. Maybe he over did things a little bit too much. Which sounded like him. "I see...well not like we want to think about it anyway." He only shrugged, Caelan hadn't wanted to think about it either. But he always assumed he'd be the hunter. He had nothing else. And Caelan's parents were hunters, most of the other people were too. That had been all he was surrounded by. So he didn't know anything else. But the idea of losing Devan actually stung. Caelan couldn't entirely understand why, it made him feel weird.
"A year off doesn't sound bad...but where would we go? I don't know if I like the idea of hunting without you anyway." He said with a small sigh, he didn't entirely enjoy speaking his mind this way. It made him feel weird in more ways then he liked. Why did he have to feel so weird. He never knew what he'd get into. Or who might show up to bother him at this point. He only wanted to cuddle up to Devan like he used to. Though no it'd probably not end up doing anything. For a moment he felt that he'd be able to keep Devan. Or maybe he'd lose him. This was not something he wanted to think about, it was a bit weird.
He wanted to say he still loved the boy, because he still did. He only rolled his eyes. Caelan didn't care about high school, or the association right now. He didn't want to deal with them. He'd rather focus on Devan if he could. Devan was important to him. "Devan I don't care if I'm leaving the hunter thing for a year. I want to be with you, that's all. Nobody else. Do you figure that out now?" He poured more of the wine back in his throat. It wasn't burning so much anymore. He only looked at Devan then reached over to pinch his cheeks. Why was he acting that way? He was a little weird sometimes. |

Devan agreed that he didn't want to think about it, their future as potential adults, but he couldn't stop such thoughts from popping into his head on a daily basis. They troubled him often, and as school slowly moved closer towards their second semester, Devan was becoming all the more uncomfortable. He didn't know what Caelan wanted, but it seemed obvious that he would become a hunter. This worried Devan, but even more so made him upset. He cared a lot for Cael. What if something ever happened to him while he was on a hunt, and Devan wasn't there to watch out for him... He really didn't want to think about it. Devan was unsure where he'd go, especially if Caelan decided to come along. He just wanted a break. Maybe to California? It wasn't all that far, and they had beaches. It was a fanciful notion though, for someone without a job, but Devan could at least dream. He lifted his eyes to Caelan once more as he proclaimed what he wanted to blatantly straight forward. He blinked, a bit taken a back, as a noticeable blush etched across his cheeks. "Caelan why do you have to talk like that? Cut it out alright. It's weird." He chuckled nervously, that is until Caelan had reached over and started pinching him in the cheek. Devan leaned forward slightly so it wouldn't hurt as much, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to complain. "A-Ah..Okaay I get it. Stoooop." He whined, his voice oddly muffled as he tried to talk with his cheek still being pulled on by the smaller male. @ caelan ||

Your forever is all that I need
Please stay as long as you need Caelan didn't know what he wanted anymore. Before he started dating Devan he had been dead set on following his father's foot steps. The being a hunter and marrying a woman in the same place. But no he didn't care anymore. It'd probably not end up mattering. Devan probably saw him as a weirdo. Since that was all he was at this point. Right now anyway. Yet he didn't know what he was going to even say. Caelan always had his own ways to do things, and he wouldn't change his mind. Or at least he thought he wouldn't. But Devan staying like that it had changed his mind. Being a hunter meant he couldn't have what he wanted. That was what made him want to forget all of it. He sighed lightly and glared over at Devan. "How is that weird? Jeez, you are being weird." He moved a bit to slip to the edge of the bed. He felt tense again and hated it. Caelan wanted that weird energy to disappear.
Right he wasn't supposed to be moving. He only laughed a bit and set the bottle down on the table near him. He wouldn't bother much with this. It'd be fine to him or at least that was what he thought. In moving he'd let go of Devan's cheek and that was that. Caelan felt bothered by something but he didn't care much. He wouldn't bother to show it at this point. Why would it matter anyway. Devan could find out what he wanted to do, and Caelan would eventually figure out his path. Mostly after Devan was away. Devan probably had that idea in his head of what he wanted.
"Yea sure you won't." He rolled his eyes. He knew Devan. That boy complained a lot, he had his reasons. But of course he'd rather not deal with it. Caelan felt that he was starting to lose touch with things right now. Because of the drinking maybe. He wanted to finish that bottle for himself. And not share any with Devan. But he'd figure it out later. "Devan...if we did leave, actually nevermind." He laughed and stopped carrying about this. He wasn't sure what to do. Bringing up the past would only lead to further things he didn't want.
He scooted back up to Devan and curled up on him. It would be comfy or so he thought. He didn't need to dwell on his past. This would be fine. |

Despite the playfulness he felt toward Caelan, when he heard what he'd said it made Devan wonder if something was wrong with him. After Cael let go of him and scooted to the edge of the bed Devan sat up and rubbed his cheek as it slowly turned red. He wasn't expecting the mood to become so somber, at least on Caelan's side of the bed. He feared that perhaps he'd said something wrong, and the boy was now upset with him, but when Cael moved over and crawled into his lap he only became all the more confused. "C-Caelan what's wrong? You're acting really strange." Above all Devan hated it when he didn't finish his thoughts like that. He wasn't a mind reader, he didn't know what was going on in this boy's head, and the way he was acting it only made Devan want to know all the more. If he'd done something wrong he'd certainly apologize, if only he knew what. Devan reached to grab Caelan by the shoulders, holding him back slightly only if he would be able to look at him better. "Did I say something wrong? Sorry if I upset you..or something." Perhaps Cael was just being moody from the alcohol. Devan had never seen his friend drink before, and it wouldn't be at all surprising if the drunk version of Caelan was a bit different than the original. Devan leaned away slightly and waited for the boy to react, unsure of what to do with him here. Maybe if he forced him to go to sleep? Devan simply didn't want him moving around so much, at least. @ caelan ||

Your forever is all that I need
Please stay as long as you need Caelan only looked at him and tilted his head. Was he acting weird? Maybe being the person he usually was around Devan didn't matter now. Since of course Caelan knew that Devan had no idea of the past. Not completely. Caelan felt comfy where he was resting so he only yawned a little. "The heck you talking about? I'm the one acting strange, you act like this is bad or something. Ugh just shut up I want to stay here. Like we used to." He said with a small sigh, he only seemed to be smiling the whole time. Even though his chest ached, he wondered if getting drunk would help him dull that pain. Probably not but what was he supposed to say right now anyway. He blinked at Devan and tilted his head. "W-what? Jeez Devan, I'm fine. You are thinking over this too much. I'm going to get some water." He said as he thought about getting up, what was he supposed to say.
Caelan tugged away from Devan and moved to sit on the boy. He was glancing right at Devan. The frustration wasn't even written on his face this time. "Shut the hell up." He leaned do to kiss Devan, the drinks might have driven him to a point he didn't understand. Caelan wasn't sure where this was going. His body had reacted on it's own and his heart ached. Why did he feel like this was twisting the knife in his chest again. "What upsets me is how you always act like I'm the weird one. Do you have any fucking idea what I feel every time you get hurt, or sometimes happens. And yet if I even do one thing I'm weird to you." He sighed and moved his hands down to tug at Devan's pants. He was fed up with these games. He wanted what he wanted.
So what if he was acting like some needy kid. He didn't care what people thought of him. He only tried to remove Devan's pants letting them fall down to the floor if he was allowed to. Caelan didn't even give a shit now. He hated everything, and he was already bothered by his memories. Hey if this helped him forget he'd be fine. If Devan shoved him off he could finally forget his feelings and disappear. That pain would go away if he was shoved off too right? That's what he thought though this wasn't the plan when he first got here.
Caelan was a lot less secretive in this situation. And he didn't even care. This would have been brought to light sooner or later. He was not in a bad mood, he just wasn't thinking clearly. He thought about something when he waited for Devan to try and stop him. |

Devan was confused, very very confused. When Caelan looked up at him like that he loosened his grip on his shoulders. He realized he didn't remember certain things, but sometimes he felt as if he were being punished for something he had no control over, especially when Cael got upset at him over him just being...himself. Devan hadn't thought about Caelan going to get some water, until he realized that it would require him to get up, which he quickly refused. He reached out to grab him, stopping the boy from moving off of the bed even if he tried. "Caelan stop. You can't be getting up you-" However he was abruptly cut off by the boy's lips. Stunned and taken aback by the contact, Devan shut his eyes tightly after Caelan leaned against him. If he didn't feel hot before he was beginning to feel even hotter now. When Cael pulled away, Devan almost regretted letting him. Despite how he acted, he actually liked feeling him close like this but..He was still struggling with the idea that it was okay, that it was normal, and that they'd been together as more than friends once already. Devan slowly opened his eyes once more as Caelan spoke. This time he sounded sincerely upset, frustrated. Devan was beginning to take him seriously now, despite the alcohol that was surely influencing him. What made him feel even more guilty though, was the fact that Caelan couldn't have said things things outright until now. He'd been a horrible friend lately, still. Devan's lips parted to speak after Caelan finished, but he couldn't mutter an apology before he felt the boy's hands at his pants. "Caelan." He spoke frantically, unsure of how to handle this or what to do. It was obvious this boy was a little over his limit with alcohol, and Devan feared that if they did anything while he was like this, Caelan would regret it later, or even resent him for not stopping it. In addition, Devan wasn't even sure if he was ready for this. They'd kissed a few times already, but was he really prepared to go all the way with him like this? He feared that if they did, things would change between them, and that change scared him more than anything else. Still, it was flattering. It was flattering beyond all belief that Caelan wanted him in that way. Devan was so conflicted that he couldn't even react the way he wanted. He reached out and grabbed one of Caelan's wrists with his right hand, but not forcefully, or hard. He'd just panicked. @ caelan ||
