history Nimir comes from a long line of hunters, all of which quite well known in their field. He was given extensive classes and training to help him understand and destroy vampires throughout his life. He found all the hate his family had towards vampires a little misplaced, however. They were all just so pretty in his eyes, and whenever they encountered one, whether they were keeping it from attacking someone or just watching from afar he always found himself mesmerized by their appearance. He was sure if it was love or obsession, but something about them made him want to come closer. Of course, he'd always thought he knew better than to actually do as much, but as years passed by of him studying them from a distance, he found them a lot less like the monsters he'd previously thought and more... human. He quite liked them. Nimir wanted to see more of them, in fact. He wanted to properly get to know them as more than enemies of the human race, and it was around the time when he was wondering if that might be possible that he found out about Arden Academy. Having surpassed the age to be a student, however, he decided he might well be a teacher, being more than qualified to do as much--though his attitude was perhaps somewhat lacking. Still, he figured it might well give him an interesting peek into the vampire's lives, and luckily enough they were in need of a staff member just like him. Packing his study journals, he set off to take his place in the academy. ability specialization Nimir is a Biology teacher as well as a Hunter. His speed and senses are his greatest abilities, but he also has an anit-vampire weapon. Nothing fancy, however, just a pair of daggers that could cause a vampire serious harm. He's rarely had to use them, however, being something of a peaceful soul at heart. misc. He has a masochistic streak and enjoys pain, or at least mild forms of it, say someone digging their nails into his skin--or perhaps their teeth. He has great pride in being a Hunter, but he does sometime wish he'd been one of the massively attractive vampires instead. Animals hold a soft spot in his heart, but he is somehow far too scared of them to get near one unless he needs to.
