| Never really stayed in one place Maybe that's the way it should be Atti could only glanced at his friend, trying to ignore the pressure building in his legs. Right now? Though it'd probably not end up doing him a lot of good either. He was slowly suffocating. Slowly dying at that. Go figure he was not in the luck area here. He had been stabbed, so badly. Why? It was just irritating. Atti felt bad, he thought he might die, and leave his friend all alone. Why did he have to feel this way? Just why. Not like he asked for it. He didn't want his friend to be attacked. That was all, it was the only reason that he got involved. Because if he hadn't Al would be the one bleeding out right now. This was his fault. If he never made friends with Al? Nah that was probably not true. So he'd just shrug this off. Somehow.
He tried to speak, his throat just gurgled again, and blood dripped from his lips. He had coughed some of it, trying to force it out of his lungs only made them collapse faster. He was dying. Atti knew it. He was not that worried, but he wanted to stay with his friend. Stay with him, and just help him through life. Would Al try to kill him? That was something he might be worried about. But people didn't need to know that. They'd just end up getting confused by this, if they found out. Atti needed to focus, and let his life slip away. Or let Al change his life, he was hurt so badly at a young age. All because of hunters just like his true mother before him. Yet he barely knew anything about people, or that woman. She was his sister, and now he would die too. Leaving his mother and father upset and alone. Which he didn't want.
Atti groaned, his throat started to try and shove the blood out of his body again. Make it go out his throat, or out of the wound. If he bled out then he'd be okay. Right? As if that'd just end up making things way too simple and he had to deal with that. As much as he did not wish to. He tried to give a cry when the fangs pierced his neck but it only sounded like something was blocking it. The cry was so weak, and Atti's body was turning cold. Losing all sense of heat but not because Al was draining him or he might be turning slowly. Attikus groaned and looked up at the hand, he could smell the blood. And he almost didn't want to bite. He was scared of it, scared of messing up. But he was worried about dying and leaving Al alone.
He tried to say no, but Atti couldn't. Opening his mouth he tried to lean up to the wrist. Sinking his teeth into it was weird. Atti had never done that before. He didn't drink from people, he wasn't like that. So what was he doing. Atti felt his throat want to throw it back up, but he tried to force himself not to. At least for now. Though would it even matter later on? Perhaps not. |

VOICES WON'T GO AWAY they stay for days and days They say some awful things, ways to make you fade away Alastor noted the faint noises that Atti made while he'd bit into his neck. He tried to be gentle with him for his own sake, but frankly this had been the first time in at least a decade that he'd had fresh blood like this. He could tell that Attikus was apprehensive to bite into him, and he could only imagine what the boy must think of him now, but he had to do as Alastor instructed to survive -even if it was something as foreign to him as drinking blood.
"Please," He said, trying to coax Atti to his wrist so he would bite. Alastor didn't want to have to dispose of the friend that he'd turned. Creating a level E was not his intention here, thus when Attikus warmed up to what he wanted and bit into him he felt relieved that the boy was listening to him finally. The gesture hardly hurt him at all, but having someone else drink his blood was just as foreign as perhaps Attikus consuming blood in general. The feeling of his friends new vampire fangs burrowing into his flesh was actually far more welcome than one would expect.
He just wanted Atti to heal, and knew definitely that he would after drinking his blood. It was the only way that he wouldn't die, the only way that Alastor could selfishly keep him around. Npw that Attikus could sit up on his own, Alastor petted his hair with his free hand, waiting patiently for Alastor to be done, not caring that it drained him in the process by losing so much of his blood already.

| Never really stayed in one place Maybe that's the way it should be The bites it made him feel weird, he wasn't used to being bitten. What was he supposed to do? Atti wanted to try, and just pull away from him but no it didn't work. Yet he still felt sick, he was bleeding out. Well slightly. It was starting to become less and less lately. Apparently. With a glance at him, he just felt his fangs grow in. They were sinking into Al's skin. The change for him was quite painful. He really did not enjoy it, for anything. No one would be able to blame him though. Being changed from human to vampire by someone who was his friend would never be easy. More so since he almost died for that friend. He wanted to keep shaking his head, and refuse. But would it even work? Apparently not. So far it didn't seem to. Attikus wanted to bite him. And he wasn't going to stop. The need to eat, was making him sick. 'S-stop it.' He wanted to mumble, but he had already sunk his fangs into Al's wrist.
Right now he felt sick, even as he was drinking the blood. He'd be okay? Right? Perhaps. Who knew this was all a bit confusing, and lost on him in general. But he'd keep on trying. Wanting to do this the good way. And make sure he didn't die. He did not wish to die even when Al had saved him. That would be a horrible way to even end up repaying him now wouldn't it? He couldn't handle the slime feel of the blood going down his throat. It would make him sick if he wasn't careful. But no he was trying. He was doing his best to even be careful. Though it'd probably not help. Attikus felt his stomach fill, and he didn't think he was as hungry now? No grumbling, and his chest wasn't hurting. The wound was gone? The blood in his lungs was gone? Or maybe the wound wasn't gone. All he knew is that it didn't hurt anymore.
Atti coughed when he finished the blood. Just leaning against Al, his body was shaking. The boy felt cold to the touch. He was dead now after all. Or well a vampire. Which in a sense was a life and death sort of thing? However he'd rather not think about that. It was just too harsh for him and something he'd rather forget about. As long as he possibly could anyway. Right? With a small sigh he just smiled up at his friend. He didn't have a word to say but he was tugging on Al's shirt. He wanted to get out of here, before his uncle woke up. He did want his uncle to remember how stupid he was, but at the same time he wanted him to forget.
So what was he supposed to do? Being so conflicted between two things. |

VOICES WON'T GO AWAY they stay for days and days They say some awful things, ways to make you fade away Alastor glanced down at the stab wound along the boy's chest. He wanted to make sure that it was healing, regardless of whether he knew for certain that it would or not. Carefully he peeked through the torn strip of his shirt. It was still soaked in his blood, but he watched as the wound slowly closed, feeling at ease knowing that the boy was finally going to be okay. He wouldn't admit it, but the thought of this person dying because of him made even Alastor sick to his stomach.
When Atti felt sated with himself, Alastor looked at him. He was surprised when the boy leaned against his frame, almost in what seemed like a sad gesture. It caused the pureblood to frown, feeling slightly guilty himself, but not regretful. He could regret this after knowing what the other outcome would have been. With the slight tug of his shirt Alastor knew what Attikus must have wanted without him actually saying anything. They had to get out of here. The smell of blood was too strong and he didn't want Attikus losing what calm he possessed now.
Slowly he pushed himself up to stand, holding out a hand for Atti to take. He glanced over at the boy's uncle, tempted to kill him here while he was still unconscious. He was the one that brought him here. It was his fault that Atti's life was taken from him. Anger and rage flashed in his eyes as it had before. 'Bastard' Because of him he'd have to go to the vampire council AND the hunters association to defend himself.
He needed to leave this place before his emotions got too far ahead of him. "Let's go. Do you have a cellphone on you?" He could get someone here within a couple minutes. He was sure that his staff were probably at odds looking for him anyway.

| Never really stayed in one place Maybe that's the way it should be Atti was still trying to get used to the whole fangs thing, his body was sore. Even with being turned and drinking blood this wasn't going to change. Nothing would. He was stuck in this situation, as much as he hated the idea of it. Seriously just what was he going to do? What could he say now, his family hunted things like him. Apparently. With a small groan he leaned against his friend again. Just feeling how tired he was. This did not make him feel good, he felt like his stomach was twisting in so many ways. Why though? Just why. It was so seriously confusing that he didn't even know what to do. He just had to wonder what he'd end up doing. "Al...what do we do now?" He couldn't help asking, it wasn't going to change matters now. And he already knew it. The boy would rather not dig into that, at least he was alive. And so was his friend. He would be worried and perhaps depressed otherwise if it had gone a different way.
Al was right, the smell of this blood was aggravating him slowly. Making his stomach growl, but he refused to bite anyone. He just moved his head to chew on Al's shirt. He would not let Al tell him no. Or he'd just hiss at that man. After all he needed to keep under control in some form. People were bound to be around right now, not that there would be very many. If he tried to speak it'd only be muffled because he still had that shirt in his mouth. And he wouldn't be able to wait much longer by this point. His uncle had fucked up big time. That was all, and he'd rather not drag back into that, not right now.
Al had saved him, and Atti felt bad that now he might be in trouble. Atti was just sore though so he couldn't focus for very long either. What was he supposed to say right now? He stopped chewing on the shirt when Al pulled away and just took that hand to get up. He was still slightly unsteady on his feet. His body was not the same anymore, but he felt better at least. That was just how he saw it. Probably the better idea here. "Come on let's go..u-uh a phone. Here.." He dug through his pockets and pulled it out. The thing still worked though the screen was cracked, Atti didn't care though. He remembered he had fallen on it before, but it didn't seem important now. If it was supposed to then well he was lost on that whole thing.
Atti kept close to his friend now, a bit frightened that if he pulled away he'd end up getting hurt. Or something along those lines anyway. At least for now. Perhaps this was just how it went, and he'd deal with that in time. For now he wanted to get out of here before other hunters showed up. |

VOICES WON'T GO AWAY they stay for days and days They say some awful things, ways to make you fade away He wasn't entirely bothered by Attikus chewing on his shirt. It was already destroyed and would likely be disposed of once he got home, however he did find it odd and mildly amusing. He'd never seen a person act this way before, though he'd met many level C's in the past, he supposed Attikus was different because he was essentially Alastor's creation. Whatever the case he'd let go the poor manners for now.
Al took the phone from Atti as he handed it to him, dialing the first number that came to mind while he moved forward. Stepping around the baton in his way, he casually walked under the door frame, expecting Atti to follow even though he didn't demand it of him. "I need a car." Alastor wasn't familiar with the house he was in, but it didn't take him long to find his way to the first floor. He glanced out of the window in the living room, staring off at the street signs as he casually slipped his free hand into his pocket.
"Keep the house locked down. I'll message you the address." Alastor hung up the phone soon after this, sent a message to the staff he'd just spoken to, then glanced over his shoulder to hand Atti his phone back. He wanted to know what the boy was doing here, and why he'd incidentally gotten in the way. Even if it didn't matter now he was still curious what might have been the reason for his human existence to suddenly take a turn for the dramatic.
However, there were other things he was worried about as well that needed to be addressed in the present. "How do you feel?" His expression appeared empty and emotionless, but he didn't ask this with little worry in the back of his mind. Alastor's eyes had returned to their usual violet hue, his complexion far better than it had a moment ago, however his clothes still made it seem as if he'd been run over by a car. Blood stained and torn, his button up shirt was slightly open at the top, and had since been untucked from his slacks. He looked fairly disheveled but his demeanor was stoic and calm.
"I apologize for getting you involved in this, but you would have died otherwise, and you made you're choice." Alastor couldn't help but to feel slightly sad despite himself. It was as if he'd lost the boy already, though in hindsight he had. The human in Attikus was no longer. It was fairly upsetting.

| Never really stayed in one place Maybe that's the way it should be Attikus felt tired, he was just worn out from all of this. It was not something he wanted to deal with or get involved in either. Basically. Either way he was already here. And trying to shove it off was not going to do him any good. The vampire already knew that, his tongue was licking over the fangs that had grown there. He didn't know how to handle having fangs, or even not being normal. He was not like this always, as Al probably was. He had been born human. So Atti didn't know what to do. But he wasn't going to get mad at Al. He felt better, and glad that he had been saved. At least his friend saw the want to save him. For once. Most people wouldn't even try to go that far for him. No matter what he was. As he glanced around things were really different, he could tell. Just by looking at the stuff around him, that blood scent was still reaching his nose.
Atti just let him talk. Why would he change his mind? After all he had handed his friend a phone that he wanted to use. He needed to use it. So they'd be able to get out of here. His head was hurting from the sun. The sun was not shining so bad into the house but Atti still noticed his head was hurting. And he hated it. Why couldn't that just go away for now? It was not that bad. "Ugh, my head hurts a little. Are we done here?" His uncle would wake up soon probably. And he did not want that, he'd rather just leave before he did. Trying to hurt him again? What was he supposed to do. Atti felt that his body might be giving up on him a little. All because he let someone turn him, but the boy had to remember he'd also just been stabbed.
The boy just slipped his phone into his pocket. Looking at it as if he was a bit uncertain on this one. Would it even do him any good? Perhaps not. Though he'd rather not deal with it. He had a feeling he might not be in the right state of mind either right now. It couldn't be too surprising. Attikus had worked hard to get to this point, and he wouldn't go away from that. "I don't know...it feels weird. I'm not normal, but at the same time I don't even care? I just didn't want to die." He was a bit confused, and he kept looking away. For now at least. This wasn't going to do him any good, at least not right now.
"I'm not bother, Mom and Dad aren't going to be happy with Uncle though." He shrugged, he almost didn't seem bothered. Go figure right? He should have been bothered and yet he wasn't. Just how strange was that. And what was he going to do? Attikus had feeling they wouldn't be staying here for very long. He would only hope that Al was alright, Attikus couldn't help being worried about him still. |

VOICES WON'T GO AWAY they stay for days and days They say some awful things, ways to make you fade away He noticed Atti shy away from the window once he got close enough for the setting sun to get into his line of vision. He realized then that Attikus had no idea what he'd just done to him, though he could have likely guessed. Pop culture had created many likenesses of vampires over the last few decades, all of which had something wrong with the concept when compared to reality, but he supposed that was a good thing. Humans weren't prepared for the news that vampires were real, however now that Attikus has joined their ranks he deserved an explanation.
"Yes. Our ride should be here in a couple of minutes. The both of us are going back to my home. You'll spend the night there, as I'll need to explain to you what you've become." It was going to be a long grueling process, he could just tell already, but a necessity if he was going to teach Attikus the do's and dont's of being a vampire of his level. He sighed sullenly to himself, his eyes reverting to the floor after the boy mentioned his grandparents, or rather his mother and father.
"I'll have to apologize to them as well it seems. Thank you for reminding me." Alastor worried that he would be seen as a monster by the boy's guardians, regardless of the fact that he'd saved their grandchild. However, it wouldn't matter now that the deed was already done. Alastor could only feel so much guilt at a time. He lifted his eyes, turning his cheek once more to look at Attikus while he parted his lips to speak.
"I'll take care of everything. You won't have to worry about your uncle." He tried not to mention the man with malice in his tone, but it slipped in despite his efforts. He hated that man for doing what he had. Alastor wished he had the validation to kill the man himself, but for him to slaughter a human it wouldn't go over well with either of his affiliated parties.

| Never really stayed in one place Maybe that's the way it should be Attikus still felt dizzy, his body was not happy. Not at this point. He was not going to get near the sun. It bothered him a lot, and he'd rather not deal with it. For right now. But he had to. They were going to go out there. Even if this sun might not be around for very long. Though he was far from in the mood of this stuff. Why would he be? After all Al was used to this, Atti had just been turned. So he was still attempting to get used to this. Somehow. Though it'd probably not end up doing him any good. Right? At this moment he felt that he was getting in over his head. Once again. Atti had asked to be turned, he wanted to be turned. Just so he wouldn't end up dying. That was all. But right now he'd rather shrug it off. They'd get out of here really soon wouldn't they? Or at least he hoped so anyway. For now. With a small sigh he just rubbed his forehead. This was not making him feel better at all.
"We are? But. Okay I mean my parents can be told something right? They'll worry..." He wouldn't refuse, but he wanted to tell them. Just to tell them he was staying over at a friends house and leave it vague. They'd be concerned but not a concerned. Until they found out about his uncle being attacked. Though for now he'd rather just let this go. Try to figure it out some other way at least. Though for now it wasn't going to matter, his friend would take him somewhere else. Hopefully? Right now this was all he wanted. Though it'd probably not help. Attikus still felt like something was a tad bit bad here. Wrong in so many ways at that. Right? Perhaps this was just how it went. He'd rather not get into those emotions, they were better off blocked off.
"I'm sorry. but okay, let's just go before anyone wakes up." He did not want to be here when they did. When they messed up, or tried to fight again. He'd just rather not deal with it. Since it'd probably be complicated enough as it was right now. Apparently. He just had to hope his friend would listen to him, and not push on things. That was all he could probably hope. But he'd rather not dwell on it. So he shut that away for now then glanced back at him. What would Al say? After all yes they needed to talk to his family soon enough. But it could be done later. Later on when they weren't hurt and tired.
"U-um okay. Thank you." He smiled and just looked at him, trying to keep the fangs from peeking over his lips. He didn't need to cut his lips or anything. That'd be horrible, or bloody. Probably a little bit of both. Though he'd rather not think about it right now. That was all. Perhaps this might not be so good, but he was trying to make some sense of his change without pushing on Al. Al had been through enough today after all. |

VOICES WON'T GO AWAY they stay for days and days They say some awful things, ways to make you fade away There would be so much to go over it was making him feel exhausted already, though he supposed that feeling was also in part from the gun shot wounds that still hadn't entirely healed. It was still a necessity to explain some things to Attikus though, who was so naive to all of this. Admittedly he felt a bit guilty that he hadn't been able to tell the boy about what he was or his family and status since they'd first met, but to explain anything to him before now would have been against the rules. None of it mattered now that he was changed, different.
Hearing Atti thank him of all things, for some reason made him feel just a tad bit better. He turned slightly, glancing over his shoulder at the boy. He caught the smile in his features and the fangs that were still protruding noticeably. It brought the faintest bemused smile to his own features, considering that perhaps Atti wasn't used to them yet, and that he probably didn't know how to retract them. Or perhaps he was still hungry? Either way Alastor understood. "They'll retract eventually, the fangs. Just try not to think about them being there."
As for his parents, "You can contact your mother whenever you like, but I suggest that you don't tell her what has happened just yet. I said that I will take care of it, so try to be vague for now." He said and turned to peek out of the window once more. A slim black, tinted car pulled up to the side of the house. A well dressed older male exited from it and opened an umbrella as he walked towards the front door. Alastor didn't waste any time lingering by the window once acknowledging this.
"Come. Our ride is here." He said, still not giving Attikus any second glances as he leisurely walked towards the front door and opened it without a hitch. The well dressed man bowed and exclaimed his relief to see that the young master was okay, though Alastor didn't pay him much mind. The umbrella wasn't entirely necessary, but he didn't complain for the sake of his company. The car door was opened for him, though he moved aside and waited for Attikus to duck in first before entering after him.
Resting his hands in his lap he glanced from the window to the red haired boy. "Are you still hungry?" A faint grin appearing on his features as he could sympathize with him.

| Never really stayed in one place Maybe that's the way it should be Atti felt tired, he was just ready to get out of here, and didn't want a lecture. Not at all. He'd rather just shake it off, and never have to deal with a lecture. After all it wasn't like he needed it. Atti had been through more then enough tonight? Hadn't that meant the same for Al. The car was here it seemed. But he was just trying to ignore it, and focus on something else instead. The fangs, he found himself licking over them again. If only now that he remembered them. Would they? Well maybe. He was not entirely sure where to go with this, or how to handle it either. Perhaps he needed to shake it off somehow instead. Rather then dwelling on those matters that weren't so important either. He did have a feeling things were awkward, or he'd need a lot explained to him as well. Apparently. But that could wait. The car, they needed to go.
The scent of blood might slowly drive him mad. But he'd rather not deal with that. For the moment at least, perhaps this was okay. With a laugh he just thought about bouncing out into the sun. Not knowing how the sun would hurt him after all. He wasn't entirely aware of how this would go. Or what he could do about any of that either right? This was just how things were. "Come on! I wanna go!" He still had his excitement even if his body was exhausted. That was not going to change though, and he had to remember he was still not human now. And he had a lot of things to work through. Whether he wanted to or not by this point really. Attikus was not entirely sure he knew where this might take him.
But he would finally get to see his friends house. And what it was like. Hopefully it was a nice looking place, that didn't match his uncles right now. Since his uncles was covered in blood from Al, Atti and the hunters in this place, as he would soon learn to call them. So many attempts to keep him free from this world had completely failed. And there was no getting away from that now. "I-I hope they do, they keep trying to cut me." He was trying not to talk too much, but he was also trying to be careful. No need to let the fangs cut into his skin. That'd only create more problems after he just stopped the bleeding in his chest.
"Okay...I'll call her when we get to the house? That might be a better idea. Mother and Father will discover Uncle's house soon. I'd rather get them before that, but I'll let you tell them what happened if it's better." That was all he said as he walked to the car, and settled into the seat. He was still not used to his fangs. His chest hurt, his body hurt in general. And he was not entirely certain what to do about this. "A little...But it'll be okay." He'd keep believe that, for now at least. They were going to go home eventually, or well to Al's home. |

VOICES WON'T GO AWAY they stay for days and days They say some awful things, ways to make you fade away Seeing Attikus trying so hard not to bite himself was suddenly the most distracting thing. Their conversation had to be serious, and he'd meant to go into what he'd just done to him, but as Alastor stared at Atti he couldn't help but release a small, restricted laugh. Of course the boy would get used to these things, and the life he'd given him, but in the meantime Alastor would have to get used to Atti's ignorance as well.
"That would be fine, yes." He replied, a smile still lingering from his brief chuckle while he responded;however, Alastor quickly went back to the matter at hand. "Do you know what sort of job your uncle has?" It was important for him to find out how much Attikus knew first, so he would be able to estimate how much he would then have to inform him on. He had an estimated guess that the boy knew little to none about his family, what he had been before Alastor turned him, and perhaps even what Alastor truly was. Though at the moment he had no issue explaining any of this to him, as he would need to know regardless.
"Or, even where you come from?"

| Never really stayed in one place Maybe that's the way it should be He felt weird, this whole being a vampire thing it was hard to wrap his mind around. Pretty much. Though like it even mattered, right? Perhaps he was thinking too hard on this one. His body was different, Atti was different in general. Now he was a vampire, and he did not have anything human about him? Or at least people might think he's not human anymore. This already lost him. It hurt him. Knowing he had to push Al to that. Even if he was dying, he'd rather not end up hurting him. Or forcing him into that again. Atti had barely wanted to the first time, he didn't want to die though. He felt glad that his friend had saved him at least. Right now this was all that mattered. Even if he was still feeling a bit weird. Or confused. He still felt that craving for blood. Which might not be such a good thing either. At least not right now.
"Uh no? Mom wouldn't tell me. She said I'd learn in time. Or something." He was not aware his uncle was a hunter, or other people in his family were. Though now there was something he wanted to know. Atti only wondered what these people wanted, or what they'd do. Right now it might not end up being all that important either. Who knew, he was getting hungry again, plus exhausted. Sleeping on Al's lap sounded really good to him. Though he knew they had things to discuss. Stuff to figure out and so on. Not exactly what he wanted to do. But this was the way life had become for him. Even if he didn't like this was just how it was. And how it'd always be more or less. There would never be any escaping it.
How did he know these things? Minus the fact that they locked him up. Really he could only wonder what he might be getting into. This was something he felt weird about. "Where I come from? What do you mean, cause I have no idea really. Momma and Papa never told me a thing. They just said my sister died cause of something I'd never get involved in." He was truly uncertain here. This felt like it wasn't going to be good to him, and it'd probably never be. Go figure right? Perhaps he needed to think about this differently. Later on anyway, right now he wanted to nibble on something. Maybe some real food, not blood. He was not all that into the blood thing. He only did it the first time because Al told him to. |

VOICES WON'T GO AWAY they stay for days and days They say some awful things, ways to make you fade away His sister. Of course, Attikus didn't know the truth behind his appearance into this world. Alastor frowned and reverted his gaze from the boy for a moment, knowing that he had to choose his words properly. Objectively he felt that Atti deserved to know what really happened to his mother, but the fact that he actually cared even in the slightest about this boy's feelings was keeping him from saying such things outright. In the moment, he decided that it wasn't the best idea to spill everything, but to instead get straight to the point of what he had just witnessed.
"Your uncle is affiliated with a group of people that hunt those of my kind that break the rules." Alastor likely incriminated himself by saying this, but he didn't think it was entirely necessary to defend his innocence to someone like Attikus. It wasn't him who he needed to prove it to. "Since you are related by blood, you share the genetic traits that most hunters have -at least, before I..prevented your death." He'd been seconds away from saying 'bit', but the thought of saying such a vulgar term for what he'd done didn't seem right.
Running slender fingers through his raven locks, Alastor lifted his eyes and glanced over at his companion once more. "At any rate, you're probably wandering what I must have done to you so that you could live." He didn't want to scare the poor boy who was already likely in shock from being assaulted by his uncle, and the amount of blood that had been at the scene. However, he wouldn't be able to spare Attikus for too long. "I'm a vampire, and now, so are you Attikus."

| Never really stayed in one place Maybe that's the way it should be This was weird, why did he ask about that? What point did any of that have. Seriously. Atti was not sure what to say about this. Or how to figure this out either, right now. He was confused. And lost. And everything in between. For now though he'd just listen to what his friend had to say. Even if he was out of place. In so many ways at that, being human, being not human anymore. His Uncle almost killing him. All because he got involved with saving his friend. Which he'd never change his mind on. It'd probably not help him even if he tried to after all. At least by now. He was trying to wrap his head around this. His Uncle was a hunter, so did his parents hunt? Did his sister hunt? She died that way. It was confusing but he could only give a small nod. Listening to what he said was a bit strange. "So...? They hunt people like you, but you didn't break the rules. So why." He did not understand that, Al didn't seem to be that type.
Attikus didn't see how he broke the rules. So this confused him, a lot. What was he going to do? Tilting his head, he wanted to know what he was going to do at this point. He couldn't be around his family for awhile probably. Atti didn't want to hurt anyone, but he let this go. For now he'd rather not think about it. This was already a tad bit strange for him. Shrugging his shoulders he'd at least manage to rest a little bit. Leaning against Al, he just tried to control his mood. He felt irritated, that the hunters could hurt him. And so on. He'd rather not deal with that. His Uncle had caused problems too. But Al shouldn't get hurt again, so he just wanted to help him. But for now he would listen, it seemed Al had more to say. And all Atti could do was listen then somehow attempt to wrap his head around this stuff.
"Well yea I mean...fangs are different. And all. W-what!? I'm a ...one of those things from the stories? Those are actually really." He didn't look scared, he actually looked interested but confused? That was something he was not entirely sure where to go with it. But he'd keep on trying. He'd have to make this stuff work somehow. Perhaps. Though he'd rather not. Attikus felt that he was not doing the right thing. He had gotten Al in trouble maybe but he covered up his emotions on that one. |
