VOICES WON'T GO AWAY they stay for days and days They say some awful things, ways to make you fade away Yawning lazily into his hand, Alastor glanced out of the window of the slim black vehicle as his parents estate slowly came into view. He'd been away from home for a few days, attending a banquit in his parents behalf in Italy. They were far too busy to find the time to go, however Alastor was aware of some of the rumors spreading about them. It was even made all the more obvious at the party he'd attended. All eyes on him, which wouldn't have been so abnormal if not for the malice he saw in many. It did bother him that his parents were using him as a substitute for their presence already, but it would only be a matter of time before he began to run things on his own anyway. So, he didn't have much of a choice.
Regardless he was tired. The only flights he could book in a timely manner were scheduled for the early morning, leaving him drained and passive. He just wanted to get home so he could sleep, as he was certain that the evening would come with many questions from his parents about how the event had gone, and if he'd made any new connections among the nobles there.
The vehicle stopped after pulling around the cobblestone round about in front of his home. He opened his own door, uncharacteristically, however muttered to his driver to bring his things inside quickly after parking the car where he needed to. The inside of his home was quiet, though he hadn't expected anything but. His parents were likely asleep, but he wished to check in with his mother so she would know that he had gotten home safely. He was positive that she was up waiting for him anyhow.
Still dressed in his formal wear, Alastor unbuttoned his pressed jacket, resting it on a couch in the living area before heading up the stairs towards the bedrooms. As he got closer, he began to notice little things that weren't right. Where were the maids to greet him at the door? There was the faintest smell of blood, but it wasn't the familiar scent of his parents...or at least he hoped. Still he kept his pace slow and deliberate, not wanting to panic and draw to negative conclusions. He stopped in front of his parents room, apprehensive to even open the door. Real, sincere fear trickling into him like a poison.
Then there was a noise from beyond the door. Shuffling and voices, whats more they weren't his parents. Alastor opened the door, pushing it open. He stood under the frame lifting his eyes to the scene before him. Men rummaging through his family's things, going into places that they didn't belong. At first he didn't recognize them to be hunters, but he was already thinking far too irrationally to stop and breath. Alastor raised his right hand and pushed one of the men going through his mothers desk hard against the wall. His body thudded against it, but Al didn't let him go. He began to strangle him against the surface of the wall, holding him with his feet above the ground.
His eyes flashed red with hatred and disgust, though a second later he felt a fire burn against the flesh of his other arm, and the electric sound of a shot from an anti-vampire gun. He turned his cheek in search of the person responsible for harming him, but in the second that he was distracted another hunter came up behind him and stabbed him in the shoulder with another one of their 'special' weapons. It hurt like hell, and despite how easily he could have killed these men he submitted after his eyes were blinded and his hands were bound behind him.
--
"Where were his parents?" "Hell if I know!" "Did you find anyone else in the house?" "No."
These people had been bickering like this for hours, or so it felt that way. His wounds from the weapons still burned like hell, and from what he could tell they hadn't healed yet. He was bleeding out all over the wood floor and he felt pathetic and weak. However, even in his weak state he knew that he could take this poor saps if they just took the damn blind fold off. Nevertheless Alastor wanted to find out why he was here, and so he'd listened, but after an hour it just got boring.
This was all about his parents. Of course it was. He realized that when he'd brought him here and tried getting him to talk about where they might be.
"We've already tried questioning him, but he won't say shit."
The sound of a door opening caught his attention, but he didn't move, and stayed where he was -knelt down on the floor with his hands still shackled behind him as if he were the criminal. Heavy footsteps walked towards him until they stopped suddenly. "Where are your parents?" The gravely voice of the older man spoke. Alastor remained quiet, in spite of him. The sharp edge of a blade cut into exposed flesh under his collarbone, running down to the center of his chest as if that were supposed to scare him -though more pressure was applied the closer the man got to his heart. Alastor tried not to make a sound still, but he couldn't keep himself from flinching.
Anti-vampire weapons, they hurt so much more than traditional tools. It really hurt.

| Never really stayed in one place Maybe that's the way it should be Attikus had fallen asleep in his bed after a late night of gaming, normal thing for him. But what he didn't think would happen was his parents asking him to deliver something. They gave him the lecture of don't look at it, and just take it to him. If you look you won't get food you like. So of course Atti would listen. Well usually. He'd let them assume he listened. After all his parents wouldn't deny that he might have been good. They believed him over a lot of things usually. That was just how it was. So he was pulling his exhausted body out of bed then started to find his clothes. Everything had been mostly routine for awhile in there. And he hated that. This wasn't so bad to him really. "Okay I wanna get out of here...Bye mom! Bye Dad! I'll be back later!" With that the boy was gone. Using his skateboard to get across town. As he went he couldn't help thinking about his friend. Where had he gone? Was he still busy? Probably.
After all unlike Atti he had a life he needed to live. Things he needed to run. Atti could just stay at home and do what he wanted. As per usual really. Now that he was thinking about it. Why did these things have to happen? Seriously just what was he getting into. He had a feeling something wasn't right. But he just kept on riding to his uncle's house. Moving across the back streets, and slipping in through the back of the house. No one was here? But the door was unlocked? He found that rather strange. Holding his skateboard in one hand and making sure he kept his back pack on his back. Where was his uncle? "Hey uncle! where are you?" He called out. Atti probably wouldn't be heard by the hunters, but Al maybe?
He felt as if something wasn't right. He started to walk down to the basement, following a scent he couldn't describe. What was it? Who was it? That was weird, it had a coppery sort of tang to it. Like blood, or rusted copper which was really gross. Like licking a penny gross. "UNCLE! what the hell are you doing!?" He saw Al, he knew that hair. He knew that face. Those clothes. And his Uncle was leaning before him. He just picked up the skateboard, and swung it at his uncle. He didn't want to hurt him so he hoped the man would jump back and get out of the way. "Please don't. He's not a bad person. Why are you doing this to him?" He just growled, and glared at them. He was unsure on this, and Atti couldn't help it. This room was making his head spin.
The smell of blood was annoying him. Apparently. This was probably not going to do him a lot of good either, now that he was thinking about it. He wanted to untie Al but he wanted answers first. Nudging Al he hoped the male was still awake. At least for now. He could hear the voices of the others telling him to leave, and he shook his head. He wanted to know, he needed to know. "Don't you dare, just tell me!" He grumbled, and waited. He was tapping his foot as he wanted to hear some explanation. |

VOICES WON'T GO AWAY they stay for days and days They say some awful things, ways to make you fade away He didn't register the new person that had entered the home right away. The scent of his own blood filling the room was far too strong for him to even pick out how many others could be living inside this home, however he heard the footsteps heading down to the basement where he resided and it was a mild distraction to the blade cutting into his skin.
They should have realized that these methods weren't going to get him to talk, but ironically humans could be the most brutal, violent persons. Alaster tried leaning away from the knife, but the only thing behind him was a wall and there was no where for him to go. The attempt to resist, didn't help at all, and only made the hunter press harder. "Where are they??" He shouted, almost at the same time that the sound of another person erupted in the closed space.
The sound of the persons voice was vaguely familiar, but it had been so long since he'd been around to even hear it that he had slightly forgotten what it'd sounded like. Nevertheless Alastor quickly connected the dots. He kept his mouth shut, though was very relieved when the older man called 'Uncle' lowered the knife from his chest. Alastor could feel him stand after a clatter and a groan, and exhaled deeply through his nose, still doing his best to keep calm, and aware.
"Attikus!" The man exclaimed, startled to see the boy here. His expression was proof of his shock, but he quickly swallowed such feelings and replaced them with authority and defense. "Get out, now." The older man growled, not willing to play games with his relative, and certainly not wanting to get him involved in any of this. His grandmother was going to kill him when she found out that he saw any of this.
Alastor's fists tightened testing the strength of the shackles as he attempted to move his hands apart from one another. The metal felt far sturdier than it had early, and he knew that was attributed to the amount of blood he'd lost, but there must have been a seal on them for him to still not be able to simply break them off. This wasn't good.
He felt Attikus nudge him, and he flinched, unable to help himself wounds in his arm from the gun shot he'd received shot pain through his limb to his neck. He wished to tell Attikus to go away, but he hardly had the energy to stand, let alone speak. Alastor was certain he could handle this on his own.
"Boys!" The hunter shouted, pointing the blood stained dagger to the door as some of his companions filed in. "Get him out, now!"

| Never really stayed in one place Maybe that's the way it should be Atti could only watch, he couldn't accept what he was seeing, his body hurt a lot. Though he'd rather not deal with it. The boy wanted to find out what they were doing. Why they were doing it even? Attikus, and Al hadn't talked for years or maybe months. The male was busy with his own life at least. So of course. Though for right now he felt he might not be in the right spot. Or even doing the right thing. "No I'm not leaving what the hell are you doing to him?" He was not happy, that had clearly been written all over the boy's face. Any exhaustion he had went straight out the window. Al needed his help right now. And he was seriously worried about him. Why was he even here? How did they get him here? And so many other questions, that he couldn't even ask. Why would he ask those things?
He held the skateboard tighter, and kept close to Al. He didn't understand what was going on here. Or why he was in this area. Just why? Nothing had been done. Not by Al. That boy was too nice to actually do anything mean. At least from what Attikus noticed. He growled at his uncle, and held the skateboard. He would use it if he had to. That was all. No one could make him leave. "I am not leaving! let him go." He was not going to take no for an answer this time. Why would he? He basically never bothered to try. Attikus could be a bit of stubborn boy, when he wanted to be. Which was right now. They were trying to remove him from this scene, but no he wasn't going to stand for that. Al was his friend, and didn't deserve this no matter what they thought he did.
Atti knew Al better than that. So he was not about to stand back and let this happen. He just glanced at his friend again and felt worried. What was he going to do? "Just let him go, or I'm going to tell Father. How can you do this to him? Tell me now!" He backed away again and tried to keep them away from Al. He swung the skateboard hard, a few hits from that and bones could break. It was not something light after all. Even if it seemed like it might not have any power with it, or on it apparently. He just couldn't help this. His friend was here, his family was here. And Atti didn't want to pick sides between them.
"Don't touch me." He looked back at Al, gazing at the things holding him there. And Atti wanted to get them off. He just didn't like where this was going. Keeping the skateboard in his arm he leaned down to Al's level. Chewing his bottom lip at the sight of his wounds. Just how bad could this get? He moved his free hand around to try and tug at the restraints. He knew he'd probably pulled back but Atti would fight back if they tried. |

VOICES WON'T GO AWAY they stay for days and days They say some awful things, ways to make you fade away He breathed in an out calmly, doing all of what he could to reserve his energy. He had gone with these people willingly without killing anyone thus far, knowing that despite his innocence if he were to act violently against a hunter it wouldn't be taken lightly by the association. His parents, who he was still trying to view in a positive light, weren't around and he was preparing already for them not to even help him out of this. Alastor had to deal with this on his own, and he didn't want to start by hurting anyone, but the moment he heard more hunters enter and attempt to drag out Attikus it only proved to piss him off.
"Ah! Atti what the hell!" One of the men growled after getting his hard in the stomach by the boy's skateboard. They'd tried grabbing a hold of him, and had managed to drag him halfway out of the room before he started swinging his board around, inevitably hitting one man in the face, and his cousin in the stomach. The boy's uncle wasn't pleased with his, but he didn't know what to do or say to get Atti to leave that wouldn't involve telling him what that monster was. Fingers met with his forehead, a low groan expelling his lips. He was so screwed with this boy's grandparents.
He considered for a moment getting this pureblood to erase Attikus's memory, but that would require him to converse with the enemy and that seemed just as wrong as having Atti here in the first place. The tall man held out his hand as his son and friend came closer, halting them from trying to get to his nephew just yet. "Wait." He said under his breath and lowered his palm from his face to look at them.
Alastor could hear everything they said, and he knew already what the man was going to ask of him. He would have said yes, and agreed to clear Attikus's memory of this. He too didn't think it was right for the human boy to know anything about this world, but it bothered him that they were so willing to lie to family. While they were distracted, and Alastor felt Atti's presence before him he lowered his head. There was no way that Attikus was going to get the shackles off without the proper tools, but since he was so near, and Alastor had very few options, he parted his lips to speak.
"Remove the blindfold."

| Never really stayed in one place Maybe that's the way it should be Atti felt worried, his friend was here, and hurt. He didn't like it, he wishes his uncle would stop. He had to stop right? This wasn't going to help at all, that was already known. Atti looked from them back to his friend. The struggling he had done made his head spin a little. But he'd avoid letting this go anywhere. Since he knew his friend needed his help, getting him out of here wasn't going to be so easy though. He did not know how he'd manage to get him anywhere by this point really. "You stay away from him, and I'm not leaving! Just explain what the hell this is about!" He grumbled, and wanted to kick them hard. But what good would that do? Attikus already had a feeling he might be in trouble. He was only supposed to deliver something then leave. So why hadn't he? Oh right because he got way too curious for his own good.
Attikus had apologized to the people he hit before he fell down by Al. He knew he had to hurt people sometimes but he never once enjoyed that. And he probably never would. It was for the best in his mind. Not to enjoy those weird things, or whatever. But he just tried to tug the chains off, trying to move that thing that kept Al bound. Why would people do that? He was still normal, and Atti could feel his fingers ache. They were getting cut up by that thing on his arms. Why? It hurt. Not so bad but it did hurt a little bit. Not that he wanted to talk about it, he just kept trying to get it to come off right now. He just looked up at Al, that thing on his face. He was not supposed to be here. What had he done? Why would they want him? Atti knew his family did things he wasn't sure of.
But still. Taking his friend. What purpose would that even have? He'd still keep on trying to get them off. For now. Though it probably wouldn't do him any good. They had cut up his hands pretty bad. He only glanced at his friend and tilted his head. What was he talking about? Really. What did he mean? This was confusing, had always been for that matter anyway. Apparently. With a small sigh, he just gave a nod. "I'm sorry about them..." He mumbled as he reached up to pull the blindfold off. Ignoring the pain in his fingers, or how bad his fingers felt. This wasn't going to do him any good, but whatever he'd help his friend.
"H-here...just. You need to get out of here Al." He looked at him , and then back to his family who were still talking. Al didn't deserve this and Atti didn't want him to stay here. Since it seemed for whatever reason his family wanted to kill him. Why? It was confusing. Seriously he didn't know what to think. |

VOICES WON'T GO AWAY they stay for days and days They say some awful things, ways to make you fade away He waited patiently for Attikus to simply do as he asked. The scent of his blood so near to him was uncomfortable. This had nothing to do with the red haired boy, and he wished to keep him entirely out of it, but he required his help just for one thing and that was all. The moment the blind fold was off, he opened his eyes slowly. He didn't look at Attikus, absently listening to him while a deeper rage built up within himself all over again.
His eyes were a bright, piercing red. He had had enough of this nonsense. Pushing Atti's words to the back of his mind, he concentrated on the men before him. He was weak, drained, and hindered by the wounds caused by the anti-vampire weapons, but this wasn't enough to keep him here now that he could see. Alastor lifted his eyes to the hunters. An invisible force took hold of the two men that had tried dragging Attikus away, causing them to react -gasping in fear and attempting to struggle to get themselves to touch the ground but they had no chance.
Alastor sent them flying across the room until they hit the door they'd come through. The sound of their bodies slamming against the wood made a loud thudding sound among their groans of pain, but even as they were released and sunk to the ground Alastor could tell by their heart rate they weren't unconscious yet. He was being generous with them, but perhaps that was his mistake. He refused to go easy on the man that had just cut into his flesh with that knife however.
Alastor brought his attention to Atti's uncle as he noticed the man taking a step towards them as if he were going to try and stop him. Intentionally halting his movement Alastor tossed the man to the far right of the room, and abruptly slammed the exiting door wide open. "Leave." He said, his voice deep, firm, and completely serious, not even giving the boy a single glance. He didn't need Attikus here, and he would take care of his memory later after dealing with the trash inside.

| Never really stayed in one place Maybe that's the way it should be Attikus only let the blind fold fall to the ground as he looked at Al. What was he doing? What was he planning? It worried the red head more then he'd admit. He didn't want anyone to get hurt. But he didn't know what was going on either. This was not his idea, or his strong point either. He might be a bit uncomfortable. Perhaps. Who knew, this whole situation was already way too confusing. Why had they wanted Al? Yet his uncle kept refusing to explain this to him. Atti wondered if he'd be able to ask Al to explain it to him? Maybe he would. It couldn't hurt too much to just explain those things right. Those eyes though, he felt lost in them. And he didn't know what to do about that. With a small shiver, he just tried to look away from this. It'd probably end up being okay. Or at least he'd hope so.
"A-Al?" He was confused, those people had just been thrown. And Al's eyes were red? Like pure red, not just that contact color of red. He couldn't wrap his mind around this. It confused him a lot. So what was he going to do? With a small sigh he'd just try not to worry about it. But he was still uncertain, his Uncle was here. Those other guys were here, and he didn't want anyone hurt. "Al, wait stop. Let's just go.." He tried to talk to him, but he'd probably just be ignored here. He didn't like it. Why would his friend have to do this? And just how, he couldn't be the one hurting those people right? Atti knew maybe he should leave, but he couldn't just leave Al there. "No come on let's go! before they get up again." He couldn't pick sides here, he knew his family was wrong. But part of him still didn't want them to get hurt. Or let Al get in trouble either.
He had no fear about the throwing right now. He'd ask about that later, when they were alone. If he could get Al out of here. Which was all he could hope to do. Right? His friend worried him so much. So he tried to keep from getting into this again, after all it wasn't bound to do any good. He tried to plead with him again. Tugging on Al's arm a little bit. Atti didn't like this, the smell of this room was making him feel a little sick, probably because he wasn't used to so much blood in one place, not like he ever saw things like this anyway.
But he had a feeling Al wouldn't listen to him. No matter how much he pleaded when he should be scared. Why wasn't he scared? What reason would make him not be scared. That was another thing going through his mind right now, and he didn't get it. |

VOICES WON'T GO AWAY they stay for days and days They say some awful things, ways to make you fade away This was frustrating beyond all belief. He didn't want to hurt Attikus, nor did he want to force him out with the abilities he possessed as he was sure that he was scaring the boy enough, but his patience was being tested and he didn't like it. He could not just leave, even if he wanted to. Alastor felt it to be his responsibility to find out what these men had heard for them to come to his home the way they had. He would need to have some sort of advantage when going to the council, and the hunters association regardless of the fact that he knew that his family was innocent.
If Attikus wouldn't leave at his own will, than he'd have no choice. Alastor, still without moving a muscle, lifted Atti in a mental grasp. Tugging him by the arm at first until he took hold of the boys legs and began to slide him across the floor towards the exit -with far more care than he had the rest of his family. Before he could get the boy out of the door however, the two men he'd thrown towards it managed to push themselves up. He had no choice but to let go of Attikus within that moment, while the two men came at him bearing knives and a baton.
He pushed back the man with the baton before he could swing it at him, allowing the man with the four inch blade to come close, but not close enough. He stopped the man as he stood before him, forcing the human to kneel so they'd be at eye level. His bright red eyes pierced their own daggers into the human man, showing no fear or anxiety from the weapon wielded in his right hand. "My family is innocent." He said, holding eye contact with the man that growled at him and tried to fight the force that held him still.
His resistance had little effect on Alastor, but he knew that he wouldn't be able to keep this up for very long with the amount of blood he'd already lost. He twisted the man's hand back, waiting for him to drop the weapon in his grasp, perhaps spending too much time giving him all his attention in the first place. However, he wanted to get a point across. He was not weak. He would not be spoken down to by these hunters, and his family was not at fault here.
The man cried out in pain as Alastor continued to twist his hand back, but he wasn't letting go of the knife. He had much determination, it was almost admirable.

| Never really stayed in one place Maybe that's the way it should be He struggled, but he knew he wasn't getting out of this. Nope he'd be stuck. Atti knew that Al probably wanted to get him out of the way. At the very least right? So he didn't get hurt. Now the boy understood that, but he did not respond or let this go lightly either. He did not want to leave his friend. What if he got hurt? Or worse? Him dying did not sound good right about now at all. And it probably never would. "W-wait." He felt the grip drop him as he looked up. Other people were there, why? What? It didn't make sense to him either, but he'd rather not deal with that. For now he wanted to get out of here with Al. Rather then leaving him behind. Atti was confused, his head was swimming. Too much information was bugging him, and he hated it. He really hated it. Why wouldn't he?
This gave him a headache. Al was busy with one guy, and of course Atti didn't even think twice. He stood up and jumped on the idiot with the baton. Trying to keep him from getting close to Al. Even if they were friends or family, he wouldn't let anyone hurt Al. That was that, and he'd never change his mind. Not this time at the very least. Perhaps he should just leave, but he knew something bad would happen if he left. Pretty much. "Al...Just..." He shut up, he couldn't repeat the words again. He was struggling to keep this guy from throwing him off. Atti wrapped his legs around the guy's waist and smacked his head into the back of that idiot's. Hoping he'd crumble to the ground.
"You don't touch my friend you fuckwit." He fell back with the guy, and let go of him for a moment. His head was swimming, and the guy was getting up. But Atti only grabbed his skateboard blocking that damn baton thing. He could hear it collide with his skateboard. He was not in the mood of this, so he tried to knock the baton idiot off his feet again. Finally able to focus even with his head swimming the way it did. Right now it wasn't going to change much either. But he'd deal with this, then figure it out later on. His friend worried him, so even as he was trying to hit that guy with his skateboard, and block the hits thrown back at him. Well all he could think of was Al.
He had to hope Al would be alright. He didn't entirely think about himself right now. Or his uncle that man was probably still out of it. |

VOICES WON'T GO AWAY they stay for days and days They say some awful things, ways to make you fade away He could hear a cracking sound, and unfortunately for the man it wasn't from the weapon. His hand was breaking, and even though Alastor should have felt some form of sympathy for the man he couldn't in this moment. These men were idiots, and they were surely acting on their own accord rather than following the protocols given by the hunters association. They would not be pleased to find out that they violated him this way. He would have very serious words with the head of their group.
At last the man finally let go of his knife due to the severe pain in his hand, that made it far too difficult to hold. Alastor stopped twisting his hand back, and drug him across the floor harshly until he was removed from the room. He grabbed the knife from the floor and threw it up at the ceiling, where it stuck straight into the wood, and out of anyone's reach. Though this wasn't over, and to his dismay he realized that Attikus had come back and continued to fight one of the men off.
It had been his own fault that he hadn't noticed him before, and he felt awful for him even being here. He would have slaughtered these men in a second if not for Atti's presence. Whether that was a good thing or not was questionable. Alastor grasped the man's wrists keeping him from throwing any more attacks at Attikus in an attempt to protect him. He'd asked this boy to leave once already, and he was still so defiant. If he didn't feel so guilty using his abilities on him this wouldn't have been an issue, and he'd blame himself for it later, but in the moment he had to protect Atti as well.
This man was physically stronger than the other had been, or perhaps it was because Alastor felt himself growing weaker now that much of his energy was being spent. His eyes narrowed, holding the man off, and feeling all the more pathetic because of how difficult it was becoming. "Attikus." He said flatly, his voice faintly strained, warning the boy to leave once more without actually saying it out right this time.
What he didn't make note of, was that the boy's uncle was getting up and coming at him with the same knife that had created the wounds on his shoulder and chest. He was distracted, and he urgently needed Atti to leave so he could handle this on his own. It was his responsibility.

| Never really stayed in one place Maybe that's the way it should be Attikus would have left, if he didn't feel that something bad was going to happen. Not at all. Really right now this was his fault. His friend wouldn't be in this situation if he had watched him better. If he had brought him to a safe place even. Though with hunters there weren't very many either. He just took a deep breathe trying to keep the man from hurting him. Attikus wasn't worried, but he knew that his friend probably was. Yes he should have left, he wanted to leave. But it didn't happen. So of course he just needed to shrug this off and go back to what was he being done. At least for now. With a small sigh he looked up at Al, and was about to thank him when that boy spoke. What? He still wanted him to go. Attikus was going to agree, when he noticed something. He noticed his uncle, and Attikus didn't think twice before he even shoved the boy away. "Don't tou-" His words were cut short by the knife. He felt it sink into his skin, and through it. He just couldn't handle that.
Why did they try to hurt his friend? It was so upsetting to think of. He wanted to make all of that stop. If he could even manage it right now. Which so far it wasn't likely to happen. To think this had all gone wrong so fast. He laughed a bit and just looked back at Al. Atti was the type to even smile, even when something hurt. Strange kid he was still to this day apparently. But that was how things were. "Sorry man, probably should have left...but if you got hurt, I wouldn't know what to do." Atti coughed, the blood was probably already filling his lung. And he didn't even care either.
Atti just took his uncle's knife and didn't care that he was most likely making it worse. He just tried to pull it out of his body, ignoring how he felt. His clothes were torn and red. And he felt bad about Al. What would he do? This was one of his moments he'd rather not get into. For the moment. Either way this was already quite strange wasn't it apparently? With a small groan he felt his body fall back against Al's a little. "Stupid asshole leave my friend alone Uncle..." He mumbled, the words were perhaps slightly strained. But he didn't even care. Why would he even care right now?
The area around him was starting to go dark, maybe he was just playing this whole injured thing too hard but who knew. It all seemed to happen in slow motion. |

VOICES WON'T GO AWAY they stay for days and days They say some awful things, ways to make you fade away As Attikus moved away from the man with the baton, Alastor pushing him to the side so he'd slam hard into the wall to his right. Relief flooded him when the taller man crumpled to the ground and didn't seem to get up. Alastor's shoulders shrugged forward, expressing the drained feeling he felt but he was hiding most of it for Atti's sake. However, when he suddenly smelled human blood among the mix of his own he flinched and looked to Attikus who'd moved in front of him among the chaos.
He hadn't been paying attention, and immediately he saw all of this as his fault. His eyes faintly grew wider at the side of the the human boy's smile and the weak way he sank in front of him. That man, Atti's uncle, he'd stabbed him in the lung. The whole world stood still except for the red haired boy that pulled the dagger from his chest. The smell of his blood pervaded his senses, causing his fangs to extend despite himself.
His eyes that were still a bright red lifted to glare at the older man that had hurt the human boy. It was an accident, and he looked just as startled, just as disgusted as Alastor was. The both of them met eye contact, allowing the pureblood to see the fear in the man's eyes. Whether it was because he'd just harmed his own nephew, or because of how completely hostile Alastor appeared, he wasn't entirely certain of, but it didn't matter.
The new found rage he felt aided his strength, giving him one last burst of power that he'd been lacking before hand. His fists tightened behind him, until he pulled apart his wrists and cracked the shackles, causing them to break apart within seconds. The old man muttered under his breath profanities, and claims that it was all an accident but Alastor didn't care. He raised his right hand and in a quick swiping motion forced the boy's uncle to slam hard against the wall three times over until he was completely unconscious.
Carelessly Alastor let him drop to the ground, no longer considerate of any of their lives. He brought his attention to Attikus, who appeared frail and weak before him. The poor thing. He turned him over so they could meet glances. "Do you wish to live?" He wanted to be selfish, he didn't want to give Atti an option, but to take his life for himself seemed far too inhumane.

| Never really stayed in one place Maybe that's the way it should be He felt bad for Al, being dragged into this. He didn't need to deal with this, not at all. But he still felt bad. Atti felt really bad, and his chest was starting to hurt. What was he supposed to do? How was he supposed to handle this? Apparently, it was a bit confusing. Though he'd rather not deal with it. The least he could do was attempt to relax right now. But the knife was digging into his skin, and then he tried to pull it out a bit more. The pain was numb. He felt sick and tired, he just laughed. Atti seemed to be so calm. He seemed to at least feel alright. Maybe. His body was losing blood, and he was not sure what to do. With a small sigh he only looked at Al. "I'm sorry...really." The boy felt sick to his stomach, and he was starting to black out. Little by little the darkness was taking over his body again. Apparently.
"o-ow." He moaned a little, the pain was starting to come back again. Maybe because he moved, this was not something he wanted. And he already felt like he might not be doing this so well. With a small groan, he lifted his hand up to Al's cheek. The blood was staining his friend's cheek. What was he supposed to do? This confused him, and now Atti was a bit lost on this one. Why did he feel numb? Death was bad enough by this point. And he pretty much hated every single second of it. He was starting to make a puddle on the floor, and he knew his body was getting weak. Once again. Why did he feel this way? It was still weird. He was drifting between being awake, and being unconscious.
He didn't even blame his uncle, all he knew was that his body was starting to die. Slowly it was going to stop breathing and there was nothing he could do. He just had to deal with it. As much as he didn't want to anyway. Right? Apparently right now this was not his strong point, trying to keep from fainting. That was hard, and he wanted to tell Al he'd be alright. But they both knew he wasn't going to be. By now it was already obvious, and Atti didn't even notice his uncle being thrown, or anything. None of it was happening. And he barely noticed anything else either, his mind was swimming too much.
Atti tried to speak but his voice was only a gurgle, the blood filling his lung, and his other lung was probably close to collapsing. All he could do was nod, and look at Al with fear that had barely been obvious on his face before. He had a feeling this would hurt, how would he save him? By now Atti had figured out Al wasn't human. But he was not in the mood of dying at this age. It was too soon, and there was a way to prevent it? Or at least Al seemed to know one. |

VOICES WON'T GO AWAY they stay for days and days They say some awful things, ways to make you fade away The scent of Atti's blood in the air was getting stronger with each passing second. Alastor frowned, displeased with the sight of him this way. He gently rested his fingertips over the stab wound at the boy's chest, knowing that it must have hurt regardless of the fact that the weapon used was meant for his kind. His lungs were going to collapse, or he was going to drown in his own blood as it filled them -perhaps even both. It was going to hurt, to die this way.
Alastor could just as easily take his life, end it quickly so he wouldn't have to suffer, but was that what Attikus deserved? He was still so young. Would it truly be a crime if he extended it by a few years? The hunter association may see it that way, but after what happened this evening, surely they would understand. Attikus was a casualty that he knew he could spare. He wouldn't be seen as such a vile monster then, to have saved the boy's life, right?
Alastor's eyes met with Atti's as he saw him nod. He couldn't even speak anymore and the pureblood knew he would drown soon if he didn't do something. Pulling Attikus up slightly, he acknowledged the boy's answer. His right hand held the back of the ginger's neck, propping him up as he leaned in. Fangs extended, he parted his lips over Atti's throat, and bit down. He was unsure if the boy would try to resist after realizing what he was doing, so he held onto him tighter with his free hand, keeping him still while he closed his eyes and took in the boy's life essence.
He would not be the one to kill this human however, and only took in as much as he needed to also heal himself. While fed off of him, Alastor's wounds administered by the anti-vampire weapons slowly began to heal. The cuts on his chest, and shoulder healed far quickly than the gun shot wounds. Because Alastor didn't want to take too much from Atti, knowing that the boy had lost a lot of blood already, he released him after he felt well enough that he'd be able to heal on his own.
He took his mouth off of Atti's throat, not wasting time to lick the blood from his lips as he then lifted his left wrist to them and bit down on his flesh. The change wouldn't be immediate, but he figured that the send of his fresh blood from the open wounds would arouse the awakening venom that coursed through Attikus's veins. After biting into his wrist, Alastor healed within a few seconds, but while he held it over the boy's mouth he managed to spill several droplets of his own blood onto his mouth. "You must drink from me Attikus."
