history The girl was not the first child born to her parents, she was actually the second. Celeste had not been planned, or even wanted at first. Her mother was just playing around after the death of her first husband. She didn't think anything would come of it, but a cute little girl with almost jet black hair was born later in the year. From the moment of her life she was quiet, she didn't cry much or make much movement either. Celeste would play to herself, the girl didn't need her friends or anyone. Her big brother was the social one. He'd drag his sister into things. Trying to make her play and be friends with them. But she couldn't do that. Celeste would only agree to it to keep him happy. Her brother was important but no one else was. Her mother had left the children at the age of fourteen and fifteen. Leaving them to run off with her long time boyfriend or something. They didn't really care, both of them just went about things like it was normal. She left for periods of time that were too long for them to count. When she came back she'd bring gifts then remain with them for a little while. Before she just disappeared all over again. That woman never bothered to stay with her children for very long. That left Celeste and her brother to there own devices. Doing things without help. Celeste didn't see the issue of missing school to help her big brother, so she did just that. Still magically managing to graduate from middle school, before slipping into high school. This was where things just went down hill again. Her mother came back with a new baby, and less money then before. The woman had blown it all getting her fix. She hadn't changed at all, and when her parents shoved the woman into therapy. That brought attention to how her kids were living. The grandparents were only visiting so they just brought a family member in to be a caretaker for the children. Bad idea for them to have faith in the daughter they raised. She was only clean long enough to be released. The second she was out she went back into her old ways.Which in turn brought bad people to the family, the children were not free from this. They were in the closet when she died from what was thought to be an overdose, and Celeste doesn't remember much of it. She had taken the smallest child and her brother dragging them both out. The children were found sitting on the porch by her father, who tried to ask them what happened and each child only whimpered. They couldn't explain what had happened. The children would live with their father until they were moved to Arden Academy because of her dad's teaching job.
